The Al-Farahidi scholarship is a scholarship to study in the competitive Tamkin Arabic summer intensive at the Daaris Institute in Nizwa.

Applicants are eligible for consideration for:

• 100% Program fees covered- 1 scholarship available
• 50% Program fees covered- 1 scholarship available
• 25% Program fees covered- 3 scholarships available

Program fee: 1548 OMR

The scholarship does not cover flights to and from Oman or medical health insurance. The Tamkin Arabic summer intensive is June 14-July 23

Including:

• 200 course contact hours
• Weekly language partner meetings
• Breakfast & lunch
• Accommodation in shared student apartments
• Airport pick-up and drop-off
• Excursions
• Assistance with student visa

Students must be at the Intermediate Low, Intermediate High, or Advanced Mid level. Applications are due February 28, 2026 Selected candidates will be interviewed and take a placement test March

Our Arabic together plan gives special group pricing to students when two or more people sign up for courses together as a group. Group members must register for the same level and course dates.

Arabic Together Plan Structure:

• 2 participants: 10% off tuition per person
• 3 participants: 15% off tuition per person
• 4 participants: 20% off tuition per person
• 5+ participants: 25% off tuition per person

Registration:

1. A group representative designates a group name and shares the names and emails of all participants.
2. All group members must submit applications and payments referencing the group name.
3. Payment: the tuition reduction is applied to each participant’s tuition once the group is confirmed and registered.
4. The Arabic Together Plan tuition pricing is contingent on all group members completing payment. If someone drops out before payment, the tuition adjusts for remaining participants.
